William legoullon | | "Table" Archival Inkjet on Canvas 39 x 40 2010 | Raised in the Phoenix area, LeGoullon has developed a personal obsession with and appreciation for his desert surroundings, both obscure and apparent. Consistently motivated by these environments, he continues to explore theories and realities of time and evolution as well as the interaction and separation between man and place. His interest in narratives, history, and change continues to influence his work as he pursues further advancement within the arts. LeGoullon often credits his devotion to and engagement with the Phoenix arts community as his driving inspiration. As a second year member of eye lounge, he believes that it is important and crucial to see a gallery as a way to represent a holistic experience to a viewer rather than a simple showcase of individual pieces on a wall. In 2009, he received his BFA from the Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts at ASU with a focus in Photography and plans to continue living and working in the Phoenix area. email William LeGoullon artist website | | "The Crane" Archival Lambda Print 16" x 24" 2009 | | "Desert Center School Piano" Archival Lambda Print 16 x 24 2009 | |
