| In my artwork I explore the themes of comfort and a sense of false security by making sculptural objects that represent food. Food, like sweets, can be attractive and used to comfort strong emotions. The consumption of too many sweets changes the sense of comfort and can leave one feeling quite sour. I make large quantities of sweets from fabric and household items that may be tempting at first, but their materials, abundance, or size have a bitter after taste.
