Born too early started too late. My own obsessions and how that becomes shorthand for normal. All the feeling well out of my depth, but already entrenched in the situation. Where it’s a game to find where you fit. Telling small lies that hide the truth of what’s underneath. That it may be different because of experience but we are doing the same dance. Walking in the present while the past is always there. Waiting for an indeterminate time and indeterminate outcome, your mind playing tricks on you. Products of fortuitous encounters.
