All Eyes on You

To be a part of any collective requires intention, collaboration, mutual respect, genuine criticism, and the willingness to be honest and vulnerable with one another. The All Eyes on You Juried Group Exhibition is a rare selection of talented Phoenix-based artists who have been chosen by our current artist members. The exhibition runs from June 16th until July 9th. 

At Eye Lounge, our artist members typically stay in the collective for a period of 1-3 years. As a result, we frequently bid farewell to fellow artists whom we have come to admire. These departures are regular and anticipated. However, we recently had an unexpected opening in our exhibition schedule when one member had to leave prematurely due to moving requirements.

Instead of organizing another traditional fundraiser featuring our collective's work, we decided to seize the opportunity to create new avenues for other artists by issuing a call for art. The response was overwhelming, with over 150 submissions from nearly 50 different artists in the Valley and beyond. Each current artist member carefully selected works that personally resonated with them.

This juried group exhibition embodies the idea and action that artists must create their own opportunities and take matters into their own hands. While the exhibition itself may be fleeting, the satisfaction, celebration, and sense of accomplishment it brings to every artist involved are immeasurable.

Artists choosing artists. Artists being seen by other artists. Artists harnessing their collective power to create space for one another. This is the ongoing goal we strive for as both an artist collective and gallery space.

Eye Lounge is thrilled to present a curated selection of works by Jacey Coca, Swapna Das, Mary Delmege, Nathan Garcia, Rachel Ivanyi, Michelle Kohout, Daniel Mariotti, Nancy Miller, Mehrdad Mirzaie, Richard Pomraning, and Dean Terasaki.
