As the Eye Lounge Collective prepares to shift its space during the construction and reconstruction process in the historical building it has called home for nearly twenty years, current members Samantha Lyn Aasen, Kit Abate, Kat Davis, Gina DeGideo, Mikey Foster Estes, Tess Mosko Scherer, Brianna Noble and Cyd Peroni take a deeper look at the idea of construction and deconstruction within their own art practices.

Whether through materials, craft, or concept each artist presents their individual view of the process of building something new, demolishing something in existence, reworking matter, analyzing or dissecting what already exists and the duality of change and loss with the creation of something new.

Eye Lounge presents new works by member artists opening on Third Friday, July 19th, 6 – 9 PM. Please also visit the exhibition which will remain open for normal hours throughout July and August with a First Friday Reception on August 2nd, 6 – 10 PM.
