Logan Bellew is a photographer and installation-focused artist based in Brooklyn, New York and Nicosia, Cyprus. His work takes root in formal archaeology and utilizes its investigative ideologies to develop the deep personal narrative that concerns his work at present. Activism and advocacy for People Living with HIV are deeply ingrained in Logan's work. Most recently, Logan represented the AIDS Solidarity Movement of Cyprus for AIDS Action Europe and completed a residency as one of the Visual Artists Association of Cyprus' first international resident artists.
Logan earned a BFA in photography and a BA in art history from Arizona State University as well as a MFA in photography from the University of New Mexico. His work is published and exhibited internationally. Logan currently serves as Faculty Associate at Arizona State University and the State University of New York at New Paltz.
