Dain Q. Gore is a painter, professor, and puppeteer. Having studied obscure myths of many cultures, he mixes them up and presents them humorously, using a "magpie aesthetic." Alongside teaching, he has shown his art from Beijing (798 District) to Santa Fe (Meow Wolf) and has performed with The Great Arizona Puppet Theater. He's also been painting fantasy/sci-fi gaming minis since 1988 and has recently won awards at GenCon and Everchosen. "Currently, I continue to experiment with "Ings," that is, a certain kind of painting that wants to be a puppet. A painting-thing (or puppet-thing) that is doing things! Some of my more recent Ings are centered around allegorical portraits of characters that have burned into my brain." – Dain Q. Gore
