Greg Esser is an artist and co-founder of eyelounge. In addition to eyelounge, Esser established and directed other contemporary art venues including Regular Gallery, 515 Gallery, Sixth Street Studios and MADE Art Boutique. Esser also founded both Roosevelt Row CDC and the Evans Churchill Community Association. With Cindy Dach, he received the Phoenix Community Alliance Starr Award in 2014; the "Contemporary Catalyst" award from the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art in 2009; and a Governor’s Heritage Preservation Honor Award in 2009. Esser was named a "Diversity Champion" by the Phoenix Business Journal in 2013. He is the co-author with Nicole Underwood of the Arcadia publication “Phoenix’s Roosevelt Row” (2016). Esser's artwork focuses on repurposing found materials in sculpture and printmaking. His artwork is represented in numerous public and private collections. He holds a B.A. in “Art and Social Change” from Oberlin College and an M.F.A. from Arizona State University.
