Concentricity

Concentricity.jpg

Concentricity explores the interdependence and symbiotic relationships of living organisms. In the exhibition, circular forms are contained within one another sharing the same center. They symbolize how interdependent organisms use and mimic one another creating organic shapes found throughout nature.

Using ceramics, the installations in this exhibition create visual environments. They employ tactile, liminal, and sensory perception and invite the viewer to explore the created space, and reflect on their inner connectivity with nature and the environment.

This new work is a visual metaphor of the cyclical nature of life and the continued strive for balance and symmetry.
