Microcosm is an installation of ceramic work and mixed media where porcelain and thread are intertwined to create a visual metaphor in investigation of the interconnectedness of the self and other. The dynamics of those interconnections will be explored visually. Symbiotic and mutualism in relationships will be expanded upon through pattern and design. The installation will create a color field experience where the viewer becomes a part of the space through the surrounding texture, forms, and subtle color.
