Charles Kurre
This is how it feels now; whatever normal was, it’s past recovering. I’ve dotted the past weeks with small escapes into the woods, a respite from the deluge of pandemic facts, figures, social distancing and sheltering in place. I endeavor to pull back the curtain and look toward, what exactly? Something. Something yet to be discovered. These images captured during my backcountry sojourns, speak to that effort, of finding a path into the new normal, and claiming it as mine.
