Reopening on RoRo
eye lounge is excited to announce our opening for Kim Sweet’s third show, here | now. We thank the downtown arts community and everyone on Roosevelt Row for continuing to support each other through these strange times of Covid-19. The show is currently accessible by appointment. We’re also taking common-sense precautions to keep our guests as safe as possible while viewing Sweet’s work.
Currently, only three patrons are permitted in the gallery at once, to allow for physical distancing as much as possible. It’s an intimate space, so we feel that only allowing small groups at once is a great compromise to both keep each other safe, and create a personal viewing experience. We also require face coverings to enter the gallery. If you don’t have a face mask or cloth covering, arrangements can be made and one can be provided for you. We are also sanitizing high-touch surfaces in the gallery (door knobs, benches, etc.) to keep the space as clean as possible. Thank you in advance for helping us stay safe!
We are also excited to share that our neighbors at MADE Art Boutique are welcoming customers back by appointment, and have launched their new website, madephx.com, for online retail. MADE has been a staple in downtown Phoenix since 2005 by showcasing artist-made merchandise, and fostering a sense of camaraderie and community.
Our new shared neighbors, Greenwood Brewing, also plan to open to the public soon! They’re opening date is currently set for July 18, 2020, which coincides with Sweet’s show. Stay tuned for further updates as both MADE And Greenwood Brewing join Eye Lounge at our remodeled home on Roosevelt Row.
