Eye Lounge is pleased to present Friends4 L I F E, an exhibition of new work by Bob Allen.

“This solo show remembers four (4) unique and interesting individuals who I met when we were all six, twelve and fourteen years old and attending school. We immediately clicked and, surprisingly for us all, those bonds lasted a lifetime – 50+ years.” – Bob Allen

Friends4 L I F E is about influence, friendship and memory and will feature 20 mixed media paintings on stretched canvas and wood. Allen’s goal in making this work over the last few years was to reflect on each of these friends, and their ongoing history together. All of the work in the F4life exhibit grew out of that initial effort, rich in historic imagery, abstractions, and iconic assemblages on wood meant to capture time, mood and place.

The exhibition will run from January 19th, 2018 through February 11th, 2018. The artist will host on opening reception on Friday, Jan 19th from 6 – 10 pm
and be in the gallery for First Friday on Feb 2nd, 2018, during regular eye lounge hours and by appointment.

Eye Lounge Gallery is located at 419 E Roosevelt Street in Phoenix. The gallery is open Fridays from 6 -10 pm, Saturdays 1-5pm, Sundays from 11am-3pm, and during MADE gift shop hours.
